On September the 25th Alton Archers hosted our Open Shoot.

This is our annual shoot aimed at novice and beginners, below first class, although all others are welcome to shoot as guests.

We had a phenomenal 65 entrants attend, from clubs all around our region.

The winners were:

Junior Ladies Recurve - Anaya Cole (Alton and Four Marks Archers)

Junior Gents Recurve - Paul Williams (Overton Black Arrows)

Junior Compound - Adam Stickland (Alton and Four Marks Archers)

Junior Barebow/ Longbow - Maddy Gilson (Alton and Four Marks Archers)

Senior Compound - Andy Constable (Petersfield)

Senior Ladies Recurve - Clare Langham Phillips (Old Basing)

Senior Gents Recurve - Tamas Gaspar (Sportables)

Senior Longbow/ Barebow - Tim Aldridge (Overton Black Arrows)

After the shoot there were sausage sandwiches to feast on, as well as our birthday cake, whilst we waited for the results. Thanks to Melissa's family for the huge task of cooking all the sausages.

We also had a huge amount of help from club members to set up, organise catering, scoring and ensure the shoot went off without a hitch, so thank you to Melissa, Catherine, Stephen, Sue, Andrew, Damien, Sam, Dario, David and Katie.
