AFM winning novices

Congratulations to two of our members, Laurie Waugh and Jen Salt, who were both awarded first place in their respective categories in Southampton Archery Clubbbs Novice Warwick Shoot on Saturday, 12 March 2022. 

Jen picked up gold in the Senior Ladies Recurve Short Warwick category and Laurie received gold in the Senior Ladies Barebow Short Warwick.

The Novice Warwick event was open to archers with less than 12 months experience. In fact, our AFM winners only completed their beginner course in October. Well done to them both!

Another Wet Sunday

No shooting again at Four marks - field is still waterlogged - however, we have been busy fitting new sights to our bows, taping the string at one end (thank you Eshylus), checking the bracing heights and waxing the strings. All good practice for good bow maintenance!
