Fees- cheques payable to “Hampshire Archery Association”
|Event Timings||Equipment inspection from
8.00am, assembly at 8.30am on both
days followed by practice from 8.45am
The competition will start immediately afterwards
Saturday presentation after the Match play finals and the awards ceremony for the Hampshire Champions & visitors on the Sunday afternoon
|Event Format||Sat-WA 70/60/50m 4 archers per target shooting in 2
details.6 arrows in 4 mins followed by Individual Match Play
Sun- 4 archers per target shooting in 2 details. Arrows will be shot in ends of 6 throughout the day. Time allowed 4 minutes.
At the shorter distances, Recurves and Compounds seniors & Metric 1 will switch to individual 6-zone 80cm faces.
Longbows, barebows and Junior Metrics 2/3/4/5 will remain on a full sized 80cm face
All bosses will be layered foam
Trophy to individual winner and medals to 2nd & 3rd place, Gents & Ladies Compound , Recurve and Cadet Recurve .(Longbow & Barebows will be classified as Recurve)
County Champion; Trophies will be awarded to the highest placed Hampshire members. Ladies, Gents, Junior Ladies and Junior Gents per bow style (shooting their correct distance according to their age)except senior longbow archers as the “Traditional longbow Tournament” is the County Champs
Medals for the minor places to Hampshire archers according to number of entries

Trophies for Hampshire County Club Team & medals according to entries for the minor places. Team of 4 Recurve (mixedteam including at least 1 junior) 3 Compound (mixed team)2 Barebow
All HAA club teams must be named prior to shooting commencing.
Remember you can claim WA stars /Six gold ends badges on the day of the claim. Also the Hampshire website for Hampshire Junior Awards. AGB website- junior starsand English Crosses from English Archery Federation
|Dress||Please refer to the Archery GB Rules of Shooting for the dress
Archers should comply with dress regulations until after the presentations. No blue denim or camo
|Drug Testing||Archers competing at record
status tournaments may be liable for drugs testing.
Competitors who are approached to give samples must comply.
Non-compliance will be treated as a positive result.
Parents / Guardians must sign the relevant box on the entry forms giving consent for junior archers (Under 18’s) to be drug tested if approached.
|Refreshments||Refreshments will be available at the venue.|
|Photography||In line with the recommendation
in the Archery GB Safeguarding Policy, those who wish to take photographs or
video at this event are to register with the Tournament Secretary on arrival.
Unauthorised photography is not permitted.
|Car Parking||Free parking will be available at the venue|
|Lost Arrows||Lost arrows must be reported to a judge .It is the archer’s responsibility to account for all arrows before leaving the field|
|Dogs||Only guide dogs are permitted in the venue|
|Smoking||Please use the designated smoking are provided behind the tent line, this also applies to e- cigarettes|
|Raffle||There will be a raffle on the Sunday. Donations for prizes please!|

|Directions||From the M27 take the A326, go through 6 roundabouts, at the next roundabout ( Heath Hotel) take the 5th exit onto the B3051 (Beaulieu Rd) over cattle grid and into the New Forest.Take 1st left to Exbury Rd and 1st right next to the Royal Oak, continues on Summer Lane out of the forest. Grounds on the left opposite Exbury Gardens & Railway.|
